The power of social media is undeniable. Internet has been a great development for the society. However, this communication system can be used to completely destroy a person. Today, after a week of her death, I want to remember Amanda Todd. This 15 years old Canadian girl has committed suicide because of the constant harassment of a "cyber-friend" and bullying she has suffered for more than three years. Her story does not need to be explained. On 7th September, a month before her death, she explained her situation herself. 

The whole country is shocked because of this brutal case of bullying. The debate about the use of Internet in teenagers is back to the news. Even the Parliament is taking measures to combat cyberbullying and school harassment. By now the police have arrested 21 people accused of causing or encouraging the suicide of the young girl. The case has had such an impact that even Anonymus has wanted to join the search of the cyber bullies.
